The Scania L94IB4x2 Chassis has proven to
be the most flexible and economical City Bus operating within the Dubai city.
Powered by a Scania 9 liters Rear mounted diesel engine along with an automatic
transmission and a Scania Retarder, Scania L94 has achieved a record low fuel
consumption that has persuaded Dubai Municipality Public Transport, to purchase
149 buses.
Scania has entered this sector in a string
way competing with all the major Bus manufacturers of its class. With a total
market share of 45%, Scania has at present 149 city buses out of 333 units
operating within the Dubai city.
